Marlessa Wesolowski is a Saskatoon based artist. She is primarily self taught and maintains a diverse studio practice that includes painting and video. Since 2005, Ms Wesolowski has been the Artist in Residence at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon where she facilitates innovative approaches to working with patients, the community, caregivers and healthcare professionals in the healing potential of art.

In her non-representational images you see the break down of an obvious reality from her physical environment and experience to create work that is founded in colour, shape and form. Each line, colour and sphere represents a rhythm and moment in time that has been influenced by interactions with nature and individuals.
